Carrowmore Lake
There is a lake near my house called Carrowmore Lake. There is also a island in the middle of the lake. Many people fish there. People from the area put goats, sheep or cows on it. My friend's uncle has a speedboat and my brother was on it. When I was a little girl my dad brought me, my brother and my cousins for a ride in my dad's boat but we do not have it anymore. Ducks and swans swim in Carrowmore Lake also. There is a ball-alley at the side of the lake where they have competitions. At the other side of the lake there is some beach for making cement and we can also see the pump house. The lake is lovely! I love the view of the lake and the Island when I am on the hills.
Some people swim in the lake. There are also a lot of frogs and tadpoles in the lake.
